EMPLOYEE POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Warehouseman
Exemption Status: Hourly
Reports To: Department Manager
Work Schedule: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Pulls product from inventory to fill orders.

Inspects and packs heads, motors, crankshafts, etc. to prepare for shipment.

Unloads/loads engines, engine parts, and other material from/onto trucks. Loading/unloading are done by using forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment.

Stamps and seals merchandise, as directed.

Places merchandise into and pulls merchandise from inventory.

Sorts engines onto pallets and transfers heads, crank shafts, etc. into boxes/baskets.
- Brings merchandise to proper department for pending orders or processing, attaches inventory tags, ensures product is scanned-in.

Moves product in and out of production.

Reports needed maintenance and repairs.

Enforces environmental and safety compliance.

Performs other duties, as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Correctly and consistently lift up to75 pounds and carry it up to 20 feet.

A basic knowledge of engine parts.

Experience operating or ability to operate industrial equipment, including forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.

Work inside and outside in an industrial yard and warehouse environment.
