EngineQuest Announces Strategic Business Transition: Two Focused Paths for Growth
LAS VEGAS, NV – October 21, 2025 EngineQuest is proud to announce an exciting new chapter in its long history of serving the engine, core, and recycling industries. To better serve our customers and ensure long-term growth, EngineQuest has made the decision to separate its two divisions, New Parts and Cores & Recycling, into independent companies.Going forward, EngineQuest LLC will focus exclusively on new engine parts from its brand-new, state-of-the-art facility at 2942 Lincoln Rd, Unit #103, Las Vegas, NV 89115. The Cores & Recycling division will transition to new ownership under the name EQ Cores and Recycling LLC, with plans to relocate to 3850 N. Losee Rd, North Las Vegas, NV 89030 by the first of the year. The team will continue to provide the dependable service and value customers have come to expect. The new ownership will be headed by Juan Haro, who has been with EngineQuest for 14 years. Juan began his career cutting cars in the yard, worked his way up to Operations Manager, and three years ago was named Vice President of Sales and Purchasing for the core division.“This decision was one of the hardest of my life,” said Scott Stolberg, Owner of EngineQuest. “Since 1949, cores have been the foundation of who we are. They’ve helped us thrive, weather challenges, and build lasting relationships in this industry. We also recognized that the New Parts and Cores & Recycling sides of the business were facing different challenges. By separating them, we’ve created the best opportunity for each side to thrive. Most importantly, this change allows us to continue serving our customers with the quality and dedication they deserve.”
What This Means for Customers
EngineQuest LLC (New Parts): Customers will benefit from expanded product lines, more kits, and broader applications. EngineQuest will continue to specialize in hard-to-find, discontinued, or cost-prohibitive OEM parts, all manufactured to exacting standards and backed by the EQ difference.
EQ Core and Recycling LLC (New Ownership): Customers and suppliers will continue to receive strong support and top-dollar value for cores, aluminum, copper, batteries, and other recyclables. Scott will work closely with the new ownership team during the transition to ensure stability and success.
A Message of Gratitude
“For more than 70 years, our customers and suppliers have been the driving force behind EngineQuest,” Stolberg reflected. “Your loyalty, feedback, and trust have helped us grow and adapt through every era of this business. We are deeply grateful for your support and proud to have built such strong relationships along the way. As we move forward, we’re excited to continue that journey with you.”
